Open Preservation Foundation (OPF) membership

As the National Archives seeks to develop our digital infrastructure and capacity to preserve born digital records, we are pleased to announce our membership of the Open Preservation Foundation. Collaboration is crucial to the success of our ambitions to make the National Archives a leader in this area and to ensure the preservation of Ireland’s digital archival heritage. The OFP provides a forum to learn from colleagues and to contribute to developments in a rapidly changing environment. This initiative will aid the development of our digital skills, which forms a key part of Shaping Our Future in the Information Age – National Archives Strategic Plan 2021-2025, our current strategic plan.
