Letter from Luigi Einaudi, President of Italy, dated 20 June 1952, to President Seán T. Ó Ceallaigh. The letter concerns the presentation of a Venetian Chalice to the President as a symbol of continued friendship between Italy and Ireland. President Einaudi introduces Signor Francesco di S. Andrea d'Ussita, Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary, as his representative who will present the chalice to the President - he also wishes prosperity on the Irish nation and thanks the President for his personal friendship.
