The report of 18 October 1915 records visits to the shop of Thomas J Clarke, 75 Parnell Street, on Saturday 16 by Thomas Byrne, followed by TJ Sheehan, Joseph McGuinness, Con Colbert, John McGarry, John O’Mahony, Herbert ‘Barney’ Mellows, Arthur Griffith, Edward Daly, James J Buggy and Joseph Murray. On Sunday 17, Clarke is visited by John O’Mahony, Ben Parsons, [Joseph] Murray, William O’Leary Curtis and James J Buggy.
The departures are noted of Darrel Figgis to Achill [County Mayo], James Connolly to Tralee [County Kerry] and Joseph Murray to Kells [County Meath].
A meeting in the office of the Irish Volunteers, 2 Dawson Street, on Saturday 16 October, is attended by Jeremiah Joseph O’Connell, Éamonn Ceannt, Con Colbert, Michael O’Hanrahan, Éamon De Valera and George Irvine.
JJ Walsh is observed in his shop at 26 Blessington Street.
