This archive was lost on June 30, 1922, during the opening engagement of the Civil War.<\/p>\n<h3>Virtual Record Treasury of Ireland<\/h3>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.virtualtreasury.ie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Virtual Record Treasury of Ireland<\/a> is a free, open-access online resource. It is accessible to all those interested in Ireland&#8217;s rich history, both in Ireland and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>It is a State-funded research partnership funded by the Government of Ireland under Project Ireland 2040 through the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.<\/p>\n<p>Its research programme combines historical investigation, archival discovery, conservation and technical innovation. The extensive and growing treasury of digitised records\u2014scattered across space and time, but now reunited onscreen\u2014brings ordinary lives buried in official documents back into the
